Biblical Reasons to Avoid Public Schools

I define "public schools" as the state-funded educational system in the USA, which teaches children to follow the secular, humanist religion.

Are there public schools that teach God's Word? Do they honor Jesus? Is the Bible authoritative? Or is the Bible just another stupid religion, and the book of Genesis simply a "creation myth?"

If you can find a public school that does not oppose God, then by definition, I am not opposed to that particular school. However, we know that if you are not with Jesus, you are against Him (Matthew 12:30). Therefore, any public school who is not supportive of Jesus, is also against Him. It is not possible to be neutral, and those who are lukewarm will be spit out (Revelation 3:16).

The public school system is fundamentally opposed to the knowledge of God, and therefore must be reformed or replaced. This can only be accomplished by faithful Christians who utilize the full armor of God, so they can say:

We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, 6 and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete (2 Corinthians 10:5-6).

From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

So you will walk in the way of good men

that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument.

1 John 5:18-21

18 We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. 19 We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols.
